AR-News: (US-ny) Town Turns Pet Owners Into Guardians

(Wanaque-WABC, May 13, 2004) — They may be man's best friend, just don't
call them your own. One New Jersey borough has now made it illegal for
people to own dogs, or any other pet for that matter.

It is happening in Wanaque, where from now on instead of being called
"owners," people will be called pet "guardians."
