I have today received a letter from WWF confirming 'WWF reluctantly
believes that in the current absence of suitable alternatives some
animal testing is unfortunately still necessary to determine if a
chemical is safe'.

This does not appear to be reflected in their Animal Testing policy
paper;
http://www.wwf.org.uk/filelibrary/pdf/aniamltesting03.pdf

You may wish to contact WWF stating your concerns about their support
for animal experiments. You may also wish to make anyone who supports
WWF aware of this.

Best wishes
