Clarence A. "Pete" Leggett, Jr., 78, of Boonsboro, Md. was harvested by God
this week. Leggett was co-owner of Leggett's Trapping
Supplies, a member of the Maryland Fur Trappers and Fur Takers of America,
a lifetime member of the National Trappers Assoc. In 1983, he received the
Maryland Fur Trappers Hall of Fame Award and in 2003 was inducted into the
National Trappers Hall of Fame.

Leggett's pelt was reportedly in "fair" condition and will be sold at
auction unless the family decides to have him mounted. A decision is
expected soon.

Leggett bred like a mink and is survived by his mate, four pups and a
gaggle of relatives.
