As many of you know, on Friday, April 22, Sarahjane Blum, media
spokesperson for GourmetCruelty.com, was arrested after screening the
video "Delicacy of Despair: Behind the Closed Doors of the Foie Gras
Industry" at a conference at Syracuse University. She was charged with
felony burglary for the open rescue of ducks from the Hudson Valley
Foie Gras factory farm in Liberty, New York, and was released the next
day on bail.

Sarahjane has now retained an attorney and has appeared at a
preliminary hearing. The judge granted a continuance until Sarahjane's
graduate school semester is completed. The next court date is scheduled
for June 8.

Donations to assist Sarahjane and GourmetCruelty.com with legal fees
are greatly appreciated. Please send contributions to:
