JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Jacksonville city leaders are looking at a plan to put
wild animals right in the center of downtown. City and Jacksonville
Landing leaders are considering a proposal that would use an old

The group PETA, or People For the Ethical Treatment of Animals, is
expressing concerns about the proposal. They say confining wild animals
causes stress and discomfort which could lead to injuries.
