Today we made a small action in Warsaw, where many shops are still
boarded
up after the summit. We encourage small shop keepers to organize
themselves
to get compensation from the police and the media who scared them into
closing their shops. We also posted information about an animal shelter
which could take the boards and use them to build houses for the
animals and
we encouraged people to contact them.
In Polish, cops are called dogs, not pigs, so the slogans were something
like "The Dogs "Protected" Your Shops, So Now Protect the Dogs". (Maybe
it's
one of those things that don't translate well.)
