World Week - Long Island Re-cap!
THANK YOU! Things Could Not Have Gone Better!

After a full week of activities, protests, phone-ins,
email blockades,
teach-ins, and a few direct actions Forest Labs and
HLS were left with
their heads spinning, but the ADL-LI did not take a
break!

(Friday 4/23 3pm)
On Friday afternoon 4/23 over 45 activists gathered at
the driveway to 
the
EAB Plaza in Uniondale - Long Island.  The building is
home to
Rivkin-Radler and the offices of William J. Candee III
(HLS Client 
Forest
Labs -Director).  The activists had a loud and serious
greeting to give
all the Rivkin lawyers as they left the building that
day, undoubtably
already shell-shocked from the office occupation, home
protests, and
phone/email blockade that had happened in the days
prior.

(Friday 4/23 6pm)
As usual it did not stop at the office, later that
night some 30 
activists
gathered at the home of William Candee at

12 Valey Road
Glen Cove- Long Island

in case William missed the message that he's in
financial cahoots with
puppy killers at the office he was sure to get it
outside his posh
mansion!

(Friday 4/23 12am)
After a fantastic vegan diner outing, activists
outraged with HLS
re-assembled outside the home of Shankar Hariharan in
Smithtown - Long
Island.  Shankar who is a director to Forest and the
Vice President of 
the
Forest Institute was rocked out of his slumber, and
with him so was his
entire neighborhood!  Nobody sleeps when a puppy
killing pervert lives
next door!

This great evening of action was complemented by 4
protests earlier in 
the
week, a terrific teach-in on vivisection at Hofstra
University with a
great attendance, hundreds of emails and phone calls
to Forest and 
Rivkin,
2 late night wake up protests for Forest and Sumitomo
BMOCees, and a
heroic action by the ALF where countless Forest Labs
documents were
obtained!

The ADL-LI would like to thank all and anyone who
attended any portion 
of
the world week events, you truly helped to make them
spectacular!  But,
the action does not stop there!  We still have a way
to go before we 
see HLS
closed for good so keep up the pace and lets smash
HLS!

To get more involved attend this weeks planning
meeting at the Witches
Brew Cafe Thursday, May 6th at 7pm.  Witches Brew is
located at 311
Hempstead Turnpike in West Hempstead - Long Island.
