Stop the abuse, save the monkeys

The University of Colorado Health Sciences Center ought to release the "CU
34" its colony of bonnet macaque monkeys to a sanctuary and stop using
these wonderful beings as pawns, mere objects, in some heartless
self-serving economic ploy. It would be nice to see some compassion and
respect rather than cold negotiation. Haven't these monkeys suffered
enough already? Haven't they sacrificed enough surely far too much of
their lives to deserve a comfortable refuge in which to live in peace,
without fear of continued and needless abuse?

This situation is an embarrassment to the university, and I'm getting
tired of inquiries from around the world expressing astonishment at the
arrogance of some of my colleagues.
