AR-News: (AU) Sheep protesters chained to tug

PROTESTERS have chained themselves to a tugboat at a Victorian port in an
attempt to stop a ship from docking to pick up a load of live sheep.

Mark Pearson, executive director of Animal Liberation NSW, said two
protesters chained themselves to a tugboat anchored at the public jetty at
Portland from 3am.

They were trying to stop the tugboat from guiding the Middle-East bound Al
Messilah into the port, he said.
