AR-News: Calls Needed to Cancel Donkey Basketball Game

Dear Friends, 

Chicago Christian High School's motto is:  Striving to be Competent 
Christlike Servants.  Yet, this Saturday night, April 24th, Chicago Christian High 
School in Palos Heights, IL will be hosting a donkey basketball game.   

As many of you know, not only are these games incredibly stressful, inhumane 
and totally demeaning for the donkeys, but they can also be dangerous to the 
human participants.  Not to mention, they are also a potential liability.  
Interestingly enough, on the flyer promoting this event, it clearly states, "No 
Video Cameras Allowed." 

SHARK's undercover video footage of donkey basketball has been supplied to 
the school, and still they are persisting with the plans for this animal abuse.  
This school needs to be bombarded with calls, e-mails and faxes to make 
officials realize that they are not standing behind their motto by inflicting pain, 
fear and potential injuries to defenseless animals. 

Please contact Chicago Christian High School's Principal Steve Bult, and urge 
him to cancel this cruel event, and develop a policy to never hold events 
that jeopardize the health and safety of animals or their students.

We also need CCHS alumni or local citizens to organize a protest or attend 
the event to document the cruelties.
