Don't hunt critters; help them!

I think Janice Corbin, deputy clerk of the Culpeper County Circuit Court,
would be better off at home watching television. She should try watching "Animal
Planet" about animal abuse.
How can she say, "Out here, I can listen to God's creatures under the stars"?
Then she gets pleasure watching her dogs run one of "God's creatures" until
it can't run anymore, and the dogs fight it until it dies a horrible death.
The coon was in its own territory. Can you imagine the terror this animal
felt? And she gets pleasure out of watching it die a horrible death. Worse, it
might get away wounded and die a slow death.
Thank God we have wildlife rescue organizations and wildlife animal hospitals
that get pleasure out of making the wildlife in Virginia survive.
Maybe if Corbin's bored, she can volunteer and save a life instead of helping
to destroy "God's creatures."

"True human goodness, in all its purity and freedom, can come to fore only
when its recipient has no power. Mankind's true moral test, its fundamental test
(which lies deeply buried from view), consists of its attitude towards those
who are at its mercy: animals. And in this respect mankind has suffered a
fundamental debacle, a debacle so fundamental that all others stem from it."
