slant
Below is a news release from TV reporter (KCAL anchor, CBS, now Celebrity
Justice reporter) and animal advocate Jane Velez Mitchell about a show she and
Marie Oser are producing which will premiere on Wednesday, April 21, on the Dish
network.
The recipes prepared on the show will all be vegan and sponsors are all at
least vegetarian.
Jane's note, with the release, included this information:
"Obviously, there is an animal rights connection and we are also urging all
Animal Rights groups to send us their :30 second Public Service Announcement
Videos so we can put them in our show during commercial breaks. Also, we are
urging animal activists and vegans to contact their cable channels (Comcast,
etc) and urge them to pick up the Healthy Living Channel now on Dish Network."
So if you have a PSA you'd like played, contact Jane at vegtv at comcast.net.
Jane tells me that television providers will add a station for which they get
a number of requests -- that number is pre-determined and varies from
provider to provider. If you would like this show to be available on your station,
for those in your area to see, it is well worth your while to ask your provider
to add the station.
