Eggs filled with grain and carrots are the object of Sunday?s quests at 
Lighthouse Farm Sanctuary.

Chocolate eggs, marshmallow bunnies and jelly beans weren?t the treats du 
jour Sunday at the Lighthouse Farm Sanctuary.

No, these eggs were filled with apples, carrots and grain, which suited the 
children and the animals at the farm northwest of Salem just fine.

Goats, llamas, chickens and other farm critters welcomed visitors of the 
human kind to the animal-rescue farm in what was something of an opening day for 
the sanctuary.

Mary Faith Bell of Sheridan watched as her son Gabriel Wiegan had one of the 
many chickens roaming the grounds eating out of his hand. Gabriel?s cousin, 
Joey Johns, 4, was amazed by a large turkey as it strutted around its pen.
