Dear friends,

The City Hall of Barcelona has just approved that Barcelona should be
declared free of bullfights.
According to the votation:
In favour of the ban of bullfights 21
Against 15.

Now with this declaration, the City Hall will ask the Government of
Catalonia to ban the bullfights in Barcelona. This is the first step and one
battle was won.

Thanks to all that left messages in the guest book of the City Hall and sent
emails and letters to the politicians. This is a victory of all of you.
