> Last year saw the BUAV's first National Cruelty-Free Week. Many of you got
> active to support us and the public response was so great we have decided

> National Cruelty-Free Week aims to provide the general public with an
> introduction to the issue of animal testing through the BUAV's 'ethical
> consumer' campaigns, educating people about how to boycott animal tested
> products and make positive choices by going cruelty-free. Last year
> hundreds of people contacted the BUAV for the first time ever to ask for
> info on cosmetics testing and then went on to find out about other areas
> of vivisection too such as medical research or chemicals testing.

> This year National Cruelty-Free Week will run from 5-11July 2004. We are
> looking for active supporters or local  UK  groups to hold street
> collections in your local area - would you be able to take part? The BUAV
