"This morning, PETA fired off a letter to District Attorney Jaime Esparza, 
urging his office to vigorously prosecute David Delgado and Lorena Murillo, both 
of El Paso. The couple faces charges stemming from authorities’ reported 
March 21 discovery of nine malnourished dogs on their property. News sources state 
that little food was found at the residence and that the malnourished animals 
were suffering from skin and eye infections."
