AR-News: (US IN) McDonald?s touts dog adoption

McDonald?s restaurant owners in the Chicago area teamed up over the weekend 
with local animal shelters to promote dog adoption. 
The restaurants in Valparaiso, Michigan City, Merrill-ville and Hobart played 
host to representatives from local shelters, who were accompanied by dogs 
available for adoption, to allow them to spread the word on the importance of 
supporting local animal shelters. 
The dogs days at McDonald?s tied in with the launch of the fast-food 
restaurant?s campaign for its latest Happy Meal entry, ?The Dog,? which comes with 
miniature stuffed dog dolls.
