THE PETITION

Our organisation, Doctors and Lawyers for Responsible Medicine (www.dlrm.org) has called on the UK government to launch a judicial inquiry into the questionable scientific validity of animal experiments in medical research. DLRM is opposed to animal experiments on scientific grounds, and was advised by one of its vice presidents, the eminent Michael Mansfield QC, to campaign for a judicial inquiry as the most effective way to achieve our aim of abolishing animal experiments (petition can be viewed on our website www.dlrm.org).
