AR-News: (US NY) L.I. Game Farm Newborns

The Long Island Game Farm announced that it will kick off the spring season 
with a special sneak preview by opening for the week of April 3-10. Beginning 
on April 11th, the Long Island Game Farm will be open weekends only until May 
1st. After May 1st, the Game Farm will remain open daily until October 11th. 
This will mark the Game Farm’s 35th year of providing high quality fun and 
education to families throughout Long Island.
One of the best times of the year to visit the Game Farm is early Spring, 
when many of the animals have given birth to newborns.  This year’s newborns 
include Barbados Sheep, donkeys, rabbits, sheep, ducks, goats, as well as several 
Ring-Tailed Lemurs.  In the past four years, 10 baby lemurs have been born in 
the Long Island Game Farm. Within weeks two baby black bear cubs will also 
arrive and take on quarters in the Game Farm’s baby bear nursery.
