Mar. 26--TOKYO - Yoshinoya D&C Co. has no intention of buying beef from a
U.S. meat processor gearing up to voluntarily test all its cattle bound
for Japan for mad cow disease, the president of the fast-food chain said
Friday.

Creekstone Farms has indicated recently that it will voluntarily test
cattle bound for Japan for the bovine disease, and there are increasing
signs the U.S. government may endorse such an attempt.
