BALTIMORE -- Baltimore fire officials are investigating a fire at a home 
filled with trash and nearly two dozen animals. 
The fire happened yesterday afternoon in the 2400 block of Guilford Avenue. 
The 18 cats and four dogs were found inside living in mounds of trash and holes 
in the walls. 
All of the animals survived the fire and have been taken to a shelter. 
One resident of the house was treated at the scene for a minor cut to the 
hand.
