WHITE PLAINS MAN INDICTED FOR AGGRAVATED CRUELTY TO ANIMALS 
Westchester County District Attorney Jeanine Pirro announced that Russell Miller (DOB 11/22/78) of 135 S. Lexington Ave. White Plains, New York was indicted by a Westchester County Grand Jury on one count of Aggravated Cruelty to Animals for an incident that occurred on January 10, 2004 in the Town of Greenburgh. The indictment alleges that Miller, following an argument with his girlfriend, repeatedly struck her ten-pound Yorkshire terrier against a ceramic toilet bowl causing the dog’s spine to sever and then dropped the dog into the toilet. The dog was immediately taken to the Veterinary Emergency Hospital where it was euthanized due to the life-threatening nature of its injuries. Aggravated Cruelty to Animals is a felony punishable up to two years in State Prison. - END-
