AR-News: (US-ca)Woman With More Than 200 Chihuahuas To Be Sentenced For Animal Cruelty

LOS ANGELES -- A 72-year-old woman convicted of animal cruelty and other
charges for keeping more than 200 Chihuahuas in deplorable conditions on
her property in Acton is scheduled to be sentenced Monday.

A Lancaster Superior Court jury deliberated for two hours last Tuesday
before finding Emma Regina Harter guilty of the felony animal cruelty
charge and four misdemeanors, including battery on an animal control officer.
