AR-News: (US NY) New Rochelle animal shelter will lose home

NEW ROCHELLE — Alley and Luke are in danger of losing their home, along with 
seven other cats. And though the cats couldn't care less, so are five puppies. 
The animals are in the care of Pet Rescue, a 22-year-old nonprofit 
organization that has until the end of the month to close its informal shelter in a New 
Rochelle apartment. The group fears the loss will set back its efforts to save 
dogs and cats that otherwise would be destroyed. 
"Having this apartment has enabled us to save more animals and that's what we 
are about," said Sue Kamell, founder and president of Pet Rescue.
