Think you’ve seen everything? Think again!
Up for auction is a fantastically unique pair of earrings made out of REAL
Sheltie teeth! These aren’t just any old teeth folks! These teeth came from a
very special 12 yr. old rescued Sheltie named Mercy and the money raised from
these earrings is going to help a very special 8 yr. old rescued Sheltie named
<A HREF="http://www.jacksonvillesheltierescue.org/page7.htm">Max</A>.

Mercy is a <A HREF="http://www.nopuppymills.com/">puppy mill</A> survivor and is the oldest dog in a group of 27, who
were confiscated in a <A HREF="http://www.nopuppymills.com/">puppy mill</A> raid last year. For Mercy’s entire 12 years of
life, she was locked in a cage and used as a breeding machine. She never
knew love or companionship and she certainly never received any Veterinary care.
Mercy simply existed in a wire box, producing litter after litter, year after
year.

Mercy’s horrible lifestyle & living conditions have taken a terrible toll
on her body. She is riddled with arthritis and her paws are deformed from
standing on a wire cage for many years. Tumors were found all over her ovaries
and she almost died while undergoing surgery to be spayed & have her teeth
cleaned. Fortunately, Mercy has been adopted by a wonderful woman who wants to
give her love and a normal life for the remaining time she has left. But even
her adoptive mom has had some major vet bills as a result of Mercy’s lack of
care. She has had a number of mammary gland tumors removed and had to have
most of Mercy’s teeth extracted, which is how the earrings came about!

Even if you choose not to bid on Mercy’s earrings, won’t you consider making
a “tax deductible” contribution to help <A HREF="http://www.jacksonvill</font>">? You can send your loving
contribution directly to:

Darla and Ernie Duffey started the <A HREF="http://www.jacksonvillesheltierescue.org/">Jacksonville Sheltie Rescue</A> over 20 years
ago. By themselves, they have helped more Shelties than many Rescues
“combined.” They have never once turned down a Sheltie in need, no matter what the
age, no matter what the problem. And they have done all of this out of their
own pockets. The Duffeys have many “senior Shelties” who have lived out their
remaining years with them and many seniors who they are currently caring for.
They believe that ALL life is precious and every dog deserves happiness, no
matter how old. Please take a moment to visit their website by clicking <A HREF="http://www.jacksonvillesheltierescue.org/">HERE!</A>
