NCBA PLANS LIVE, APRIL 1 BROADCAST FROM CAPITOL HILL

The National Cattlemen's Beef Association (NCBA) will host a Satellite Town 
Hall Meeting from Washington, D.C., on April 1. Being held in conjunction 
with NCBA's spring policy conference, the 90-minute live broadcast includes 
updates on NCBA's legislative and regulatory efforts, particularly actions 
to reopen export markets and minimize the impacts of new BSE regulations on 
cattlemen.

NCBA President Jan Lyons, a Manhattan, KS, producer, and NCBA CEO Terry 
Stokes, will discuss NCBA's role in protecting the livelihoods of American 
cattlemen and ensuring opportunities for profitability. The program will 
also include an economic, trade and policy update from NCBA vice president 
of government affairs Chandler Keys and chief economist Gregg Doud.

During the live broadcast, cattlemen nationwide can call in to a telephone 
number provided on screen with questions and comments. The meeting 
broadcasts live on RFD-TV from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., EST. A tape of the show 
will rebroadcast three times on RFD-TV at six-hour intervals. The program 
will also be broadcast April 3 at 4 p.m., EST.

Look for the program on RFD-TV, available on: DISH TV Channel 9409; DirecTV 
Channel 379 (multi-satellite system required); MediaCom Cable Providers 
(check local listings); and NCTC Cable Providers, (heck local listings).
