IT IS a van that's dead set against animal cruelty and this week it visited
Moree, Inverell, Armidale and Uralla to raise RSPCA awareness.
As Australia's largest mobile animal welfare education unit, the RSPCA mobile
classroom is midway through a massive regional NSW tour.
RSPCA regional co-ordinator Leonie Gorman praised the efforts of the RSPCA
branches in helping to sponsor the unit's visits to the region.
"Our branches worked hard so the people of their areas could share this
special experience," Ms Gorman said.
EMU education officers allowed the public to browse through the on-board
mobile classroom, which is equipped with modern computer and audiovisual
technology, videos, giant
posters and RSPCA
memorabilia.
