Partners in Innovation: Science Education and The Science Workforce

You are invited to attend the fourth annual Leadership Initiative in
Science Education Conference (LISE 4), May 20-21, 2004, sponsored by the
Chemical Heritage Foundation, 315 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106,
and the Dow Chemical Company. This years conference focuses on the role of
science education in preparing the nations science workforce. Among eleven
featured presenters will be Gerry Wheeler, Executive Director of the
National Science Teachers Association; Joseph Bordogna, Deputy Director of
the National Science Foundation; Elsa Reichmanis, Immediate Past President
of the American Chemical Society; and Ron Webb, Manager, Doctoral
Recruiting and University Relations, Procter & Gamble.

The conference is free. You must provide your own transportation and
lodging. Register online. Click on Events & Activitiesand select LISE 4from
