AR-News: (CA-qb)SPCA pounces on man accused of cat abuse

SPCA inspectors are convinced they've collared the culprit who has been
mutilating cats, in particular a kitten the shelter has christened Lucky.

"We have him!" a jubilant Pierre Barnoti, director of the Montreal Society
for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, exclaimed yesterday.

Not only did the pair of investigators working full time on the case track
down the 20-year-old man at his Côte des Neiges home Friday, they also
discovered another cat that had been tortured in exactly the same manner
as Lucky
