AR-News: Japan to exterminate 200 pest goats

TOKYO, March 15 (UPI) -- Japan announced Monday it was beginning a goat 
extermination program on an island off Tokyo to protect the island's ecology, the 
Mainichi Daily News reported.
About 200 wild goats on Hachijokojima Island will be shot within the next 
year on the uninhabited two-square mile island, after previous attempts to 
capture the animals failed.
