British customs officials at the London Gatwick airport arrested a woman last 
week after 186 pounds of meat and fish were discovered in her luggage. 
Nenneh Nyana Jaiteh, 48, had been on an inbound flight from Gambia. She was 
later released on bail and ordered to appear in court in Haywards Heath, Sussex 
County, on April 16.  
The haul was classed as "significant" and was in breach of laws controlling 
imports of meat and other animal products from non EU countries. "She shouldn't 
have been bringing any of it in," said Customs and Excise spokeswoman, 
Kathryn Corcoran.
