AR-News: (US UT) Hunters kept from City Creek cougar

    Susan Deisley was thrilled to see her first mountain lion Sunday while 
walking in popular City Creek Canyon. Monday, she was disturbed to see hunters 
with hounds heading to the canyon. 
    "It was totally devastating to realize that somebody would try to take 
what was so amazing to so many people one day as a personal gain the next," said 
Deisley, of Salt Lake City. "It was exquisite, absolutely exquisite to see 
that mountain lion." 
    Three people showed up at the mouth of City Creek Monday morning with 
three dogs, claiming to have treed the animal the previous day. They had returned 
to resume the pursuit.
