Dogs Poisoned Before Greek Elections
 

The Greek elections are tomorrow, March 7th, and the party leaders have been touring the country, holding big street rallies to gain the public’s attention.

 

Last Friday, February 29th, the leader of the New Democracy party held a big rally in Ionnina.  The evening before the rally, rat poison was laid down in the town’s central square, resulting in the small group of dogs living there (quite happily I might add), being poisoned.  Obviously the clean up operation of the square included them as well.  While we have no proof this was done on direct orders from the Mayor or the local government officer, clearly somebody said, ‘clean up the place and get rid of the dogs as well’.

 

Please email your message of disapproval of these poisonings to the following to show them the world is watching and aware of what is going on and is not prepared to sit back and watch.
