Monster abused boy from when he was six

A DEPRAVED serial paedophile, who allegedly forced a six-year-old boy to 
watch him perform sex acts on farm animals began an 11 year jail sentence today.
Sexual obsessive Joseph Henry Bateson (39), from Cairnmorn Road, Toomebridge 
was just 13 years old when he began to mercilessly sexually abuse, beat and 
torture the little boy who lived on the farm next to his home. 
His victim Gerard McIlroy, now 31, bravely waived his right to anonymity in 
an attempt to put the monster who destroyed his childhood behind bars.
