MONROE - Her week was bad enough.
But just a few hours removed from a funeral service for her father, Tammy
Thomas was dealt another blow.
The Monroe woman was on the phone the evening of Feb. 25 being consoled by
one of her children when her husband Bobby told her something was wrong
with their cat, Ying Yang.
...
Ying Yang was shot five times with a .22 caliber gun. Two of the bullets
were in his head, below the scalp but not penetrating the skull. Another
blew away part of his jaw. A fourth was found near his spine. The fifth
bullet shattered his left hip.
