AR-News: (US NJ) Report proposes limited deer hunting in parks

On Feb. 23, the Monmouth County Park System released a "Deer Management 
Report" and has scheduled public information sessions related to the report. The 
report reviews a variety of deer management options and is recommending that 
portions of nine county parks be opened for limited hunting next season.
Three public information sessions will be held in March; each session will be 
identical in content and include a presentation by park system staff followed 
by a public comment period.
Park system staff will be available to answer questions before and after each 
session.
