An Okanogan County sheriff's deputy who illegally killed a deer has been
fired.
An internal investigation showed Blake Emigh violated his oath of office and
hunting laws. He was fired after a 19-year career.
Emigh pleaded guilty in Douglas County District Court last month to
second-degree unlawful hunting of big game.
He was fined two-thousand dollars to be paid to the state Department of Fish
and Wildlife as well as four-hundred in court fees.
