AR-News: (US-ma)Spaying, neutering a bargain on Spay Day

Pet welfare agencies and veterinarians will promote animal health on
Tuesday with Spay Day Tennessee and Spay Day Knoxville 2004.

The event is designed to promote the benefits of spaying and neutering
pets. Peaceful Kingdom in Knoxville is sponsoring the event. The
organization promotes spaying and neutering in and around Knox County by
providing financial assistance for low-income residents

This year marks the 10th annual Spay Day USA. Since Spay Day's inception
in 1995, participants have neutered or spayed more than 1 million animals,
according to the sponsors.
