Two more productions involving great apes have come to our attention
recently. Please consider responding:

Man vs. Beast
February 17, 2004
Fox will air "Man vs. Beast 2" on Friday February 20, 2004. The show
will include segments pitting a juvenile orangutan against a human in an
endurance test and a juvenile chimpanzee against a human in a climbing
contest. Fox also exploited great apes in the first episode of Man vs.
Beast in January of 2003.

Fox Corporate completely ignored our efforts last year to educate them
on the experience of a great ape "actor." Please call your local Fox
affiliate (find the info here: http://www.fox.com/links/affiliates.htm)
and ask them not to air this show. Let them know that it's not funny or
amusing to force apes to participate in these types of "challenges" and
that you won't be watching.

In addition, send Fox an email (askfox at foxinc.com) telling them you
don't appreciate their continued and deliberate disregard for the
welfare of the great apes in their productions.

Motocross Kids
February 13, 2004
Late in January, Tag Entertainment released a film called "Motocross
Kids" (http://www.motocrosskidsthemovie.com/home.html)about a dirt bike
riding chimpanzee named Cody. The training of chimpanzees for
productions like these is often brutal and abusive. Please write,
email, or call Tag Entertainment and ask them to promise not to exploit
chimpanzees in any future productions.

Also, please ask the American Humane Association (the group responsible
for ensuring the welfare of animals while on set) why they haven't rated
this film.
