MITO -- A man was arrested on Wednesday for attacking two customers at a
Yoshinoya beef bowl restaurant, apparently because he was angry at the
fast food chain

Most Yoshinoya outlets struck the beef bowl dish from their menu
Wednesday, because stocks of beef have run short in the wake of Japan's
ban on imports of United States beef after the finding of mad cow disease
there late last year.

Yoshinoya officials said that they would serve the dish again as soon as
the Japanese government lifts the import ban.
