Sasha Arrives at Kerwood Safe and Sound !

 

Sasha, the wolf hybrid from Anchorage, AK has finally arrived at our wolf center and is settling in wonderfully! We picked Sasha up at Pearson International Airport in Toronto yesterday. She fared very well during her long journey and was none the worst for wear. She's active, alert, very curious and friendly but still a little shy. She's wolfed down two dinners and breakfasts since her arrival and when not sleeping off her long trip she is actively exploring her new surroundings. We anticipate no problems in Sasha making an easy transition into a happy and more suitable life. 

 

Photos attached are of Sasha when she first woke this morning.

 

We will be posting a Sasha section on our website soon, complete with more photos. We will continue to document Sasha's new life here, including her introduction to a new friend this coming spring -- a wolf pup who will provide companionship and teach her about her own kind. Sasha, by all appearances and behavior, is not a hybrid at all but is a pure wolf.
