AR-News: (US OR) Humane society rescues 35 cats

Heartland Humane Society is assisting Albany Animal Control to rescue more 
than 35 cats from one household. This case reached a breaking point just 17 days 
after a similar case in Corvallis resulted in more than 56 cats arriving at 
the shelter.

A few of the cats from the first case have been adopted, but most are still 
awaiting the right adopters to come their way. The shelter also has dozens of 
more outgoing cats currently available for adoption. 
Members of the public who are unable to adopt but wish to help can make 
donations of money or high-quality cat food.
