On Friday, 30th April, to commemorate World Month for Laboratory Animals,
there will be a demonstration at the National Institute for Medical
Research (NIMR), The Ridgeway, Mill Hill, London NW7. Amongst the many
animals imprisoned inside and subjected to horrific experimentation are
Newchurch guinea pigs. The animals need every one of you to come along to
this important demo in London to mark World Laboratory Animal Month. NIMR
is a Medical Research Council facility and it also receives funding from
many national and international research organisations and commercial
companies. Please come along any time between 11 am and 9 pm with banners,
etc. The nearest underground station is Mill Hill East (Northern Line) and
the 240 bus stops outside and opposite. For more information, please call
07767 471111.

Animal experiments have:
a 63% failure rate when detecting human carcinogens
a 75-95% failure rate for detecting drug side effects
a 70% failure rate for detecting drugs which cause birth defects
Success rates lower than those achieved by uneducated guesswork.

This is not science!!
