AR-News: (US NY) Animal Cruelty Charges in Allegany County

(Almond, NY, February 9, 2004) - - An Allegany County man faces animal 
cruelty charges following a rather disturbing find at his home. 
Over the weekend, police and SPCA investigators found three dead cows and 14 
emaciated cows at James Wilcox's home on Karr Valley Road in the Town of 
Almond. 
The 14 cows that were seized will be examined and cared for by the Allegany 
County SPCA.
