For the first time in 25-years a Dearborn County wildlife sanctuary faces
closure after several wolves escpaed a week ago.
The Red Wolf Sanctuary and Raptor Rehabiliation Center, located in Dillsboro,
Indiana, has to come up with more than $100,000 in order to pay for
state-ordered improvements before it can reopen.
Owner Paul Strasser says his 20-acre site relies on donations and he doesn't
know how he'll be able to get the money to pay for it.
On January 30 ten wolves escaped the wildlife sanctuary. Most were caught but
two wolves did not survive.
