AR-News: (AU) 'Brilliant day' for city rodeo

HUGE crowds and brilliant summer weather combined to make the return of
the Ballarat Rodeo a smashing success.

The Ballarat Agricultural and Pastoral Society was pleased with a large
turnout of 4000 in the sweltering heat.

After animal rights protesters interupted last year's event, Mr Ballinger
said the weekend's rodeo was attended by a well-behaved crowd, making an
incident-free day.
