The Shriners are bringing the Jordan Circus to Albuquerque next weekend, and 
if you are thinking of taking your children, think again. 

Circuses that force animals to perform stupid tricks and live in unbearable 
conditions teach nothing natural about any of these animals, and are no way for 
children to learn about animals. After all, what does it really teach them? 
That it is OK to abuse animals? That animals are here on this earth for us to 
chain and whip into submission? We don't think so, and after reading about what 
really happens behind the big top, we hope you will find other ways to 
entertain your family without contributing to animal abuse.
