THE nation's livestock export industry will pursue legal action to defend the 
trade, after receiving financial backing from the Australian Farmers Fighting 
Fund (AFFF).

The class action could see protesters face big jail terms if they continue to 
interfere with the loading of livestock export ships. At the same time, 
welfare group Animals Australia (AA) has continued to pursue its own legal action.
