CHENNAI: A British animal rights campaigner has accused organisers of a 
fashion show, being held as part of the annual leather fair here, of assaulting her 
and using brutal force to throw her from the ramp.

And Yvonne Taylor has black and blue bruises on her face and hands to show 
for the assault on her three days ago when she was "physically lifted up and 
thrown out of the ramp by as many as six men". 
  
It happened when she got up to protest cruelty to animals at the annual 
leather show that started on Sunday. "I was just one lone woman, there was simply 
no need for six men to grab me," Taylor said.
