It seems everywhere that Martha and Perry Curtis look around their one-acre 
plot, an army of pesky raccoons peers back at them. And they feel like there's 
not a whole lot they can do about it.

They tiptoe from the trees and raise a ruckus on the roof. They slink through 
the yard and battle fiercely for scraps of food. They are bold enough to peer 
into windows, little gremlins in burglar masks.
Dozens and dozens of the varmints have overrun Martha and Perry Curtis' 
Palmetto Bay home, turning it into a raccoon resort.
